Sid Jacobson JCC Mah Jongg Open Play

What it is

Sid Jacobson JCC Mah Jongg Open Play is first-party community Mah Jongg programming on sjjcc.org for members at the Sid Jacobson JCC in East Hills, New York (Long Island). The hub page lists Members Only Open Play for the 2026–27 season plus beginner series, clinic, and immersion blocks. Its main identity for this listing is local open play / community tables, not an equipment shop and not a national digital multiplayer server.

Who it’s for

Nassau County / western Long Island players who want a citeable JCC Mah Jongg seat. East Hills is unused on disk. Existing local-group coverage skews toward other JCC calendars and metros (Boston/North Shore, Seattle Stroum, SF, Dallas, Charlotte, Tampa, Nashville, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Omaha, Birmingham Levite, Sonoma County, West Nyack Lewis JCC, etc.).

Why it’s listed

The plaza needs a real unused-metro open-play listing with address, season window, and member framing — geography diversity vs Monday’s Omaha Mahjong Club (NE), Tuesday’s Levite JCC Birmingham (AL), Wednesday’s JCC Sonoma County (Santa Rosa CA), and Thursday’s Lewis JCC Game Time (West Nyack NY / Rockland). East Hills is Long Island, not the Rockland County Lewis JCC pick.
