What it is
Open Play Canasta & Mah Jongg is a weekly, first-party open game-play series on the events calendar of the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore (JCCNS) in Marblehead, Massachusetts. It is a drop-in table session open to all, where members play free and community players pay a small fee. It is a JCC program calendar, not an equipment shop, not a lesson series, and not a digital multiplayer server.
Who it’s for
North Shore (Essex County, MA) Mah Jongg players who already know the game, bring their own sets, and want a citeable weekly open-play slot. JCC Greater Boston’s Newton drop-in is already on disk as a separate org (bostonjcc.org). JCCNS is a different center on jccns.org.
Why it’s listed
The plaza needs a real metro open-play listing for an area not already covered by the on-disk JCC and club set. JCCNS is unused. The existing JCC listings are Greater Boston (Newton), Rochester, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, East Bay, Charlotte, Tampa, Nashville, Dallas, Cincinnati, Beachwood, Portland, SF, Boulder, and others.

- First-party JCCNS .org calendar. Not Facebook-only and not a scrape directory.
- Separate from JCC Greater Boston (Newton), which is already listed.
