Glazer JCC Tampa Mah Jongg Open Play is a Tampa, FL Jewish Community Center drop-in for American Mah Jongg at the Shanna & Bryan Glazer JCC. It is a JCC table, not a named membership club and not Japanese Riichi. The Tampa JCCs and Federation Active Adults page lists weekday Mah Jongg Open Play in Meeting Rooms 2–3. A separate four-week beginner series on that same page, led by Dragons on the Green, names American Mah Jongg and says the National Mah Jongg League rule card will be provided.

The Sept. 26 Dragons tournament is a separate San Antonio country-club table, not the Howard Ave drop-in.

- American Mah Jongg. Beginner-class copy on Active Adults and on Active Communities names American Mah Jongg and the National Mah Jongg League rule card. Open-play copy itself does not say “NMJL” or “bring a card.” Not Japanese Riichi. Not Chinese / Hong Kong / MCR as the house game.

Q: Is this Japanese Riichi or Chinese Mahjong?
A: No. It is a Glazer JCC Mah Jongg open-play table. The beginner class on the same first-party Active Adults page (and the Active Communities listing) says you learn American Mah Jongg and that the National Mah Jongg League rule card is provided. Those pages do not mention Riichi or a Chinese-family (Hong Kong / MCR) house game.
