What it is

Phoenix Mahjong Club (PMC) is a first-party American Mah Jongg storefront club in Old Town Scottsdale (Phoenix metro) with a dedicated play space, dated weekly Open Play / Drop-In / catered Social blocks, beginner lessons that teach the National Mah Jongg League card, and a Competitive Fall League 2026. It is an in-person members club table, not Japanese Riichi and not a Facebook-only meetup scrape.

Who it’s for

Phoenix / Scottsdale players who want a bookable in-person American Mah Jongg seat at a fixed street address — membership Open Play and Drop-Ins, beginner lessons, or league nights — rather than a scraped directory card. Distinct from Arizona Riichi (Tempe / Japanese Riichi) and from civic one-off fundraisers.

Why it’s listed

This is a first-party club site with a printed Old Town Scottsdale address, NMJL wording, 2026 enrollment, a live September–October 2026 Lessons & Events calendar, and a Fall League 2026 page — an unused US metro (Phoenix) for Plaza Local group American Mah Jongg listings on disk.

• Members-club Open Play / Drop-Ins / Socials plus bookable lessons — not an unlabeled free walk-in board. Confirm membership or guest rules on Join The Club before showing up.
• Standing Phoenix-metro storefront with dated 2026 calendar and Fall League — not a ticketed one-off fundraiser and not a scraped Meetup-only listing.
• Not affiliated with Mahjong Plaza.

A: On 2026-09-11 the Join page listed weekly Open Play / Drop-In / Social blocks Tuesday–Sunday at 4821 N Scottsdale Road, Unit 106, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 (examples: Tue Open Play 2:30–5:00 p.m.; Sat/Sun Open Play 12–5:00 p.m.; Thu Throwdown Drop-In 5:00–7:30 p.m.). Confirm the live Join and Lessons & Events rows for the day you want.

A: Membership options and weekly access are on Join The Club. Beginner 3-hour lessons ($115, includes NMJL 2026 card on the check date) and dated September–October drop-ins/socials are on the Lessons & Events calendar — register there for seats and any holiday skips.
