What it is

RonRon (龍龍) is a first-party online multiplayer Japanese Riichi (Japanese mahjong) service operated by 有限会社麻雀ネットワークサービス (有限会社MNS) and framed on the hub as the 日本プロ麻雀連盟 公式オンライン麻雀サイト. Official lobby and rules copy describe live 対戦 at 四人麻雀 (四人東風戦 / 四人東南戦) tables plus 三人麻雀, with pro events and spectating — it is not American Mah Jongg, not Chinese Official / MCR as the primary product, and not solitaire tile-matching.

Who it’s for

Players who want competitive or casual live Riichi at home in the browser (PC or smartphone browser — official FAQ says no native app yet), including JPML-linked events, labeled clearly as Japanese online 対戦 mahjong rather than an NMJL-card American table or a Shanghai-style puzzle.

Why it’s listed

Plaza needs a citeable Home-games slot for the JPML official online table (formerly Ron2 / ロン2) that is not already on disk (not Tenhou, Mahjong Soul, Riichi City, Mahjong 4 Friends, Mahjong Time, or other home-game files).

• Official hub (https://ron2.jp/) loaded on 2026-09-09. Same-day news on the hub included WORLD RIICHI Online Team League 2026 floor notes dated 2026年9月9日.
• Web play client linked from the play guide at https://ron2.jp/3/ (browser client title 龍龍 / Web版). Official play-guide (https://ron2.jp/play-guide/): lobby 公式卓 offers 四人東風戦・四人東南戦・三人麻雀; also event floors, 観戦, and テストプレイ (CPU).
Confirms real multiplayer table rules, not tile-matching.
FAQ membership note: 月1,100円（1000円＋税） with a short free trial window.

No NMJL card, Charleston, or American scoring appears on those official pages. Table play is framed as online 対戦 / 公式卓 against other people — not a tile-matching solitaire board.

• UI is primarily Japanese; confirm the live client language options yourself.
• Formerly branded ロン2 / Ron2; current hub branding is 龍龍 (RonRon).
• Not affiliated with Mahjong Plaza.

FAQ

Q: Is RonRon / 龍龍 American Mah Jongg or solitaire?
A: No. The official hub calls it the Japan Professional Mahjong League’s official online mahjong site; the lobby and rules pages describe 四人麻雀 対戦 (and 三人麻雀). It is not an NMJL-card American product and not a tile-matching puzzle.

Q: Where can I play?
A: Official hub https://ron2.jp/ points to browser play at https://ron2.jp/3/ (see also https://ron2.jp/play-guide/). FAQ states smartphone play is via browser; there is no native app on the check date.

Q: Is it free?
A: Hub meta copy mentions 月額1,100円で打ち放題; FAQ lists membership at 月1,100円（1000円＋税） with a short free trial. Exact free vs paid table limits change — confirm the live hub or member pages.
