What it is

Tile Jong is a single-player tile-matching puzzle game from publisher Webnetic s. r. o. You clear boards by selecting and matching sets of three identical tiles across increasingly intricate layouts, with four power-ups: hints, reshuffles, undos and extra slots. It is a triple-match puzzle, not classic pair-matching mahjong solitaire and not the four-player game. It is sold as a console download for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5/4 and Xbox. It is a side game, not a way to play mahjong with others.

Who it’s for

Console players, especially on Switch in handheld mode, who want a calm mahjong-tile puzzle on the TV or on the go. Most mahjong side games on the plaza are browser, PC or phone titles.

Why it’s listed

The plaza’s side-games bucket has many browser and mobile mahjong solitaire titles but no console tile-matching game. Both the publisher page and Nintendo’s official store page give release, price and platform details.
