What it is

Pyramid of Mahjong® is a first-party G5 Entertainment solitaire / tile-matching product. You pair matching free tiles to clear Ancient Egypt–themed layouts, collect resources, rebuild a Nile Delta settlement (city-building framing), and use boosters such as Dice and Brazier. It is not 4-player mahjong — not American Mah Jongg (NMJL card), not Japanese Riichi, not Chinese table play.

Who it’s for

People who want a casual matching-tile puzzle with story / map / settlement framing on phone, tablet, or PC (G5 Store / launcher, browser on g5.com, iOS, Android, Mac, Windows). Not players looking for a live 4-player table.

Why it’s listed

Plaza needs a clearly labeled first-party solitaire / tile-matching side-game slot that is not already on disk (not Microsoft, MobilityWare, EnsenaSoft / Mahjong Deluxe, TrySolitaire, GamoVation / Mahjong Club, Zygomatic, City Tours, Treasure Quest, Arkadium / Mahjong Dimensions, or G5 / Mahjong Journey).

Platforms listed there: iOS, Mac / G5 Mac, Android / Kindle Fire / G5 Android, Windows 10+. Hub “What is mahjong?” / “Mahjong rules” sections frame mahjong solitaire: match pairs of identical free tiles and clear the board (about 100–150 tiles per level on that page).

Framing is pair-clearing on a layout, not a 4-player hand.

FAQ

Q: Can I play 4-player mahjong here (American, Riichi, or Chinese)?
A: No. G5’s product hub frames Pyramid of Mahjong as mahjong solitaire / pair matching: clear layouts by pairing identical free tiles (with story and settlement rebuilding around those puzzles). That is not a 4-player table.

Q: Where do I actually play?
A: The official hub is g5.com/games/pyramid-of-mahjong. Google Play and the App Store host Pyramid of Mahjong: Tile Match / Tile Game; G5 also lists Windows / Mac / browser / Android play through g5.com and the G5 Store. There is no live 4-player server on those pages.

Q: Is it free?
A: The G5 hub presents free-to-play distribution (optional in-app items). Google Play lists ads and in-app purchases. The App Store lists Free with In-App Purchases and optional crystal / deal SKUs (long description and IAP list: $0.99 through $49.99 among other SKUs). Check the store or hub you use; those pages do not print one single paid price on the check date.
