What it is

Mahjong Club is a first-party solitaire / tile-matching game from GamoVation B.V. You clear a stacked board by matching two identical free tiles. The official web portal (MahjongClubGame.com) and the Mahjong Club mobile apps are the same publisher’s Shanghai-style puzzle — not 4-player mahjong, not American Mah Jongg (NMJL card), not Japanese Riichi, not Chinese table play.

Who it’s for

People who want a casual matching-tile puzzle in a browser or on a phone (free layouts on the web portal; 5,000+ levels in the mobile app per store copy). Not players looking for a live 4-player NMJL or Riichi table.

Why it’s listed

Plaza needs a clearly labeled first-party “tile matching” side-game slot that is not already on disk as a file (not Microsoft Mahjong, MobilityWare, Brainium, TrySolitaire, Zygomatic mahjong.com, Pyramid of Mahjong, Mahjong Deluxe, Mahjong Dimensions, Mahjong Journey, Sheriff of Mahjong, Emperor of Mahjong, Mahjong City Tours, I Love Mahj, or Arkadium Mahjongg Solitaire).

Web portal (https://www.mahjongclubgame.com/) loaded on 2026-09-18: title Mahjong Club - Free Majong Solitaire Puzzle Game; H1 framing Classic Mahjong Solitaire Game. Layout picker included Weekly Mahjong Puzzle Week 38, 2026, Classic Turtle, Mini Pyramid, Butterfly, Spaceship, Mahjong Titans, and many other named boards. Welcome copy: play Mahjong Solitaire completely for free on MahjongClubGame.com; match tiles to clean the board; new weekly puzzle. Feature copy: 3-star scores; free hint or board shuffle; season tiles “are not identical but can still be matched.” News stamp on the same page: Mahjong Club Hits Milestone with Over 35 Million Players (available on Android, iOS, and MahjongClubGame.com). Mobile pitch on the portal: the store app “has over 5,000 levels.”
How to play (https://www.mahjongclubgame.com/how-to-play): Mahjong Solitaire is a puzzle where you match free identical tiles (edges with no tiles on both sides); win by eliminating all tiles; flower / season tiles may match each other even when not identical; strategy: first match tiles that are blocking others; restart or shuffle if stuck.
About (https://www.mahjongclubgame.com/about-us-mahjong): solitaire uses “a set of real Chinese Mahjong tiles” but “is played in a completely different way” from four-player Mahjong; Turtle formation 144 tiles is the best-known setup. Notes

Mahjong solitaire / Shanghai tile-matching, not American NMJL four-player Mah Jongg and not Riichi. The About page says four-player Mahjong players “can easily get offended” because solitaire “has nothing to do with Mahjong other than the look and feel of the tiles.”
First-party GamoVation title (web + stores), not a directory scrape and not an Amazon SKU.
Free web play; mobile is free-to-play with ads and optional IAPs. Confirm live store prices before buying.
