What it is

RichMahj is a first-party American Mahjong teaching and events practice on richmahj.com, based in Richmond, Virginia, and serving Central & Eastern Virginia (plus listed Austin, TX outreach). It sells beginner Mahjong 101 and follow-up Mahjong 201 private/group lessons, venue “Mahj on Location” classes, open-play / league nights, and charity “Mahj That Matters” donations. Its main identity is lessons. Open play and leagues exist as secondary programming on the booking page.

Who it’s for

Richmond / Williamsburg / Virginia Beach / Charlottesville-area beginners and early players who want hands-on American Mahjong instruction with materials provided. It is separate from the teachers and studios already on disk (School of American Mah Jongg, Order of the Tile, Atlanta Mentors, Mahj Life, Mahjong with Kim, The Mahj Playbook, Classical Mahjong, The Mahj Lodge, etc.) and from Weinstein JCC Richmond’s drop-in calendar (different org; not used for this wave’s Local groups pick).

Why it’s listed

The plaza needs an unused first-party teacher/course page with loadable curriculum tiers, printed per-person rates, and named contact.
