What it is

Gracey Tile Club PDX is a first-party American Mahjong teaching brand on graceytileclubpdx.com based in SE Portland, Oregon. Instructor Karen Gracey runs Discovery intros, Mahjong 101 beginner sessions, weekly guided Open Play, and private lessons/parties under official NMJL rules. The Learning identity here is the published class ladder and fees — not an equipment shop and not a drop-in JCC open-play calendar.

Who it’s for

Portland metro beginners and early players who want citeable in-person NMJL classes with printed session rates. Separate from teachers/studios already on disk (School of American Mah Jongg, Order of the Tile, Atlanta Mentors, Mahj Life, Mahjong with Kim, The Mahj Playbook, Classical Mahjong, The Mahj Lodge, RichMahj, Motor City Mahjong, Punta Gorda Mahjong, Ladies That Mahj, Beginners American Mahjong / BAM San Diego, etc.) and from other Portland-area brands not yet on disk that you may meet later.

Why it’s listed

The plaza needs an unused first-party teacher page with loadable curriculum bullets and printed rates — format/geo diversity vs Monday’s RichMahj (Virginia), Tuesday’s Motor City Mahjong (Metro Detroit), Wednesday’s Punta Gorda Mahjong (SW Florida), Thursday’s Ladies That Mahj (self-paced online), and Friday’s BAM San Diego.
