What it is

Woodlands Mahjong Society is a first-party US shop for American Mahjong acrylic tile sets, coordinating playing mats, acrylic racks with pushers, tile bags, and related table accessories. Founders Alex and Shea design community-themed “Giving Tiles” collections sold from woodlandsmahjongsociety.com — not a marketplace reseller listing. The brand also hosts learn-and-play events in The Woodlands, TX area; this Plaza entry covers the equipment shop.

Who it’s for

Players who want styled American (NMJL-card) acrylic sets with matching mats and racks at printed USD prices from the brand’s own shop, especially sets that earmark a portion of proceeds for named local nonprofits, rather than a multi-game traditional importer or a multi-brand boutique.

Why it’s listed

Plaza needs a citeable first-party equipment shop that is not already on disk (not YMI, OMM, Southern Sparrow, Mahjong Line, Bespoke, Peace Love, Table+Tiles, Modern Mahjong, Maven, Mahjong House, Miss Mahjong, Mahj Queen, Bam Let’s, Eight Bam, Lily Pad, Sweet Jojo, or I Love Mahj).
