What it is
Mahjong Montage is an online shop for American mahjong equipment: hand-designed 160-tile acrylic sets, matching mats, scalloped acrylic racks and pushers, tile bags and pouches, and hosting and décor pieces. Its About page says founder Jackie Fischer created it to make tile sets “meant to be cherished for generations,” and that every set is designed by a real artist, not AI. The site runs on Shopify with a normal cart and checkout.
Who it’s for
American mahjong players who want a designer tile set with a matching mat, plus hosts and gift buyers looking for racks, bags and table pieces.
Why it’s listed
It is a first-party shop with a real cart, and it sells its own designs rather than reselling a marketplace catalog.
- Seasonal tile and mat drops (home page): each season is a limited run of hand-designed tiles and a matching mat; the site says that once a season sells through, “it’s gone.” Autumn Reverie tiles were listed at $415.00 USD and Summer Solstice at $395.00 USD on 2026-10-15.
- What’s in a set (Autumn Reverie product page): 160 acrylic tiles, engraved and painted: 1–9 Bams, Cracks and Dots (4 of each) = 108; Winds (4 each) = 16; Dragons (4 each) = 12; Flowers = 8; Jokers = 10; Blanks = 6. Tile size 0.87”W × 1.25”H × 0.63”D.
- Other categories: mats, scalloped clear and tortoise acrylic racks and pushers, tile bags and pouches (for example XL tile bags at $39.00 USD), a foldable acrylic side table ($180.00 USD), and curated brands for hosting and gifts.
- Wholesale: the home page says it is accepting wholesale applications.

Notes
- Equipment listing with a first-party Shopify cart (
/cartreturned 200 and shows the standard empty-cart and checkout panel). - Stock changes fast: on 2026-10-15 the Autumn Reverie product page showed Sold out, and several racks, bags and the side table showed “Sold out” on the home page. Check availability before planning a purchase.
- Refunds: the Refund policy says these are small-batch custom orders, all sales are final, and only damaged items can be returned for a full refund.
- Shipping policy is thin: it says orders ship “as soon as we can” unless an item is marked pre-order or backorder. No rates or transit times are published.
- Collections change:
/collections/racksreturned 404; racks are reached from the home page and shop menu instead, so no racks URL is cited. - Prices are as shown on 2026-10-15 and may change.
